A prompt-engineering breakthrough: structured JSON output for sentences, covering lemma, POS, tense, and a relationship matrix. Design drawings exist. This is still the LLM-first era of the project, before I rebuilt around deterministic parse.
The instinct was already right: grammar as structure you can inspect.
